G11Team has been in operation since 2012. It works with enthusiastic new clients per year, and some who have been partners for many years. There is no restriction on industry groups, nor size of entity – there’s only one criteria, and that is, the entity wants to perform.

Adverse Events Plan

Local leadership growth in Adverse Events

G11 Team partnered with the Shire of Cranbrook to develop the Shire’s Adverse Events Plan. Through community and agency consultation, G11 Team developed a plan which was adopted by Council. While the plan provides guidance on mitigation and preparedness for periods of adverse conditions within Shire of Cranbrook, a major positive outcome is also the building of local leadership and community capacity to adapt and cope with chronic stresses and acute shocks. Of all feedback this Council receives, the people’s ability to address adverse events comes out the highest.

School Performance steps up a Notch

High performance, strategic planning and execution skill development has infiltrated the government school system with school leaders taking the next step of a fully-empowered, executable and trained approach to leadership. G11 is asked regularly to assess the high-performance standards of such entities and then assist the teams to grow both strategically and in their performances. G11 has noted that such schools typically commence their journey to high performance with a score of 3.2 out of 5. On completion of such training, they are reaching a high score of 4.1 out of 5. Kudos to such schools for taking on such growth. The top high performing team’s score G11 has witnessed (out of all government, not for profit and commercial client’s it works with) is 4.3 out of 5 – attained by an executive team in a private school this year.

Cranbrook Strategic Plan

Local Shire’s Planning Transparency

Congratulations for a great contribution from the Cranbrook population in forming their ten-year Strategic Community Plan, followed by the Shire Council’s Corporate Business Plan. The Council formed a leading-practice ‘executable’ plan, ensuring the team knows exactly what needs to be delivered, when and by whom. Despite experiencing a change in CEO towards the end of this planning process, it formed its plans on time. It was a robust process for the small team, with further and strong oversight by the Council’s elected members. The big change the community and Council workforce members are wishing to make during this strategic phase, is increased transparency, then ’real’ knowledge, through the use of data. The teams called their plans New Balance to celebrate this recalibration in factual knowledge. Thank you for having the G11 Team as your planning facilitators.

G11Team was engaged to develop a 3-year strategic plan with corresponding execution system and high performing team’s program. As a result, the business developed clear and measurable KPI’s, a balanced strategic scorecard, a monthly performance monitoring system, highly effective leadership team meetings and business performance that exceeds shareholder expectation.

Kojonup Booklet

Smart planning for Local Government

G11Team completed a strategic community plan for the Shire of Kojonup. This plan involved considerable community engagement, including resident workshops, community focus groups and collation of individual feedback. The result was a plan that is owned by the community and driven by the Shire. A point of difference with this Shire, which was reflected in their plan, was their intent to compete and push the boundaries.

Centre of Excellence Measures Performance

G11Team partnered with Rio Tinto’s AM CoE team to guide them on a strategic pathway that included formulation of a four-year vision, two-year strategic phases, ultimate target, milestone achievements, a 90 Day planning and performance monitoring process, leadership team and individual leadership coaching. As a result, the team is highly engaged and can measure their performance and demonstrate their contribution to the wider business.
