During October, Dampier Salt Limited (DSL) requested Michael Broadbridge from Green Eleven to facilitate a two-day, live-in Leadership Forum for all senior leaders, superintendents and supervisors.
In conjunction with the Forum organising working group, Michael devised a unique program for all participants, aimed at developing their sense of ‘team and unity’. To elicit high performance behaviour, the team worked on unpacking phase one of DSL’s We Dare. We Grow. strategy while competing in five distinct teams. The teams earned points for a variety of activities (fun, experiential and work-related) over the course of the Forum – resulting in the winning team being presented with the inaugural ‘White Jacket’.
The Forum concluded with an emotional sharing and gratitude session. In this session team members had the opportunity to share a take-away from the Forum and to recognise individual contributions. In a business that has five distinct employee ‘locations’ , there was high value gained by having everyone together to build relationships and trust.
Under the astute leadership of General Manager Brendon Brodie-Hall, the DSL team has come an enormous distance towards becoming high performing during 2019. Green Eleven looks forward to continuing the partnership into 2020 and beyond.
