Fostering Success – Nexia creates a culture of Accountability

Posted on November 4th, 2024

In the ever-evolving landscape of the modern workplace, where collaboration and innovation reign supreme, the significance of cultivating a culture of accountability cannot be overstated. This ethos transforms not just the dynamics of individual performance but shapes the collective identity of an organization.

A great example G11 has had success partnering with is the Nexia team. Nexia identified in a Leadership Team workshop that their number one priority for improvement was the creation of internal accountability amongst individuals and the various teams. While they felt they were highly accountable to their clients, they recognised that the same could not be said for how they behaved internally.

Following a dedicated program of work over a 6-month time period, the newly formed executive Leadership Team developed a clear Performance Plan with accountabilities. This Performance Plan drove the agenda for focussed Leadership Team meetings and progress was monitored.

Team members took ownership of their actions and outcomes. They developed a sense of responsibility for their contributions, and a powerful ripple effect ensued. Deadlines were met with determination, projects were executed with precision, and challenges were faced head-on.

But the culture of accountability went beyond just meeting targets; it also fostered a culture of transparency and trust. Team members understood the impact of their efforts on the collective success, creating an environment where collaboration is now thriving.

In the dynamic landscape of today's businesses, where adaptability is key, a culture of accountability becomes a driving force for success.

G11 loves helping leaders and teams discover the power of accountability.
