It’s the Games of the 30th Olympiad in London starting July 27, 2012. It’s the third time the Games will be held in London, with 1908 and 1948 being the other two. In the modern history of the Games, it’s never been held in one host city three times- we are making history. But it’s also the first time in over 3000 years of Olympic history where all sports are available for both male and female athletes. Boxing is now available for both sexes, the only remaining sport to be contested by both man and women.
